Why Is Facebook Prompting Users To Add Life Events To Their Timelines?
Whether its motives are related to advertising, Graph Search, the overall user experience, or a combination of those examples, Facebook continues to come up with ways to prod users to add more information to their Timelines.
The latest example was shared by reader Guillaume Baratte of KRDS, a Facebook Preferred Marketing Developer, who shared the screenshots below, in which he was prompted to add life events such as “bought a house,” “bought a car,” “registered as an organ donor,” and “quit smoking” to his Timeline.
