The hardtracking staff has previously noted Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon’s forays into native advertising, specifically his Fallonventions showcase for GE. (Representative sample here.)

Now comes The Tonight Show Lexus Vine Rap Contest.

The contest (read: advertisement) calls on viewers to create a six-second rap about why they want or deserve a free Lexus NX Turbo. (Fallon: “I’m talkin’ two-liter, turbo charged engine, 235 horsepower – the. real. deal.”)

Memo to Jimmy: Pimp out your show, pimp out yourself.
